BEHIND THE LENS

I love being able to preserve precious memories for families.  These moments happen once in a lifetime, and then they are gone... unless you capture them at the moment they happen.  That's what I do.

 

 

Pixels Photography is owned and operated by Kendra Votava.  Kendra started by simply capturing her children's lives as they happened.  From that, a passion for creating lasting memories evolved.  Kendra specializes in families, couples, and children.  Kendra's "day job" is as Executive Director of Grants & Development at a private, non-profit preschool for children with disabilities.

 

Kendra is a member of the Professional Photographers of America (PPA).

"I love how children can take everyday events and make them into something special.  I like being able to capture them doing something silly- showing the world who they really are.  Pictures are our way of stopping time, for however short a time that may be.  By snapping that millisecond of time, a two-year-old can magically remain two forever.  That is the magic of photography."
